Athens, Greece. After almost four years of intensive pipeline route selection and refinement in Greece, TAP has submitted its comprehensive Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) to the Ministry of Energy, Environment and Climate Change.
Trans Adriatic Pipeline Seeks Approval to Build Gas System in Greece
Trans Adriatic Pipeline AG (TAP AG), the project company for the Trans Adriatic Pipeline, also known as TAP, on June 13, 2008 filed a petition with the Greek Regulatory Authority for Energy, RAE, for the design, construction, and ownership of an Independent Natural Gas System in line with Greek legislation on the liberalisation of the natural gas market.
